Filing Residential Eviction Proceeding

by AW

Where do I file an eviction notice for Miami? Can I do the filing on line?
M.C.

Miami Dade County still requires original suits to be filed at the Clerk of the Courts office along with the payment.

Forms are available for the eviction process at the clerks office. Basic information is contained at the following web sites.

Instructions  for filing residential evictions for nonpayment of rent can be found here.

Contact the  Clerk of the Courts office for any procedural  questions and to determine the proper court to file proceedings.

Eviction proceedings need to be filed in the geographical district that the property is located.

Chapter 83 of the Florida Statutes Landlord Tenant Law is located here.
